Liftgate PowerPoint

Description

This is a 19-slide PowerPoint program that covers identifying latch systems and describes specific skills related to performing forcible entry into the hatchback or liftgate area of a vehicle. The ‘Benchmark’ time for this task is within 1 minute of starting the task. The SUV-style passenger vehicle that utilizes a liftgate in its’ design is a very typical one today.

The Liftgate PowerPoint file covers pages 119-121 in the Vehicle Rescue 1-2-3 book. There are multiple methods/tactics to use however only three different ‘attacks’ are illustrated.  Each slide contains a text box with the two or three sentences that appear below that image on that page in the book. There are also Instructor Notes for the slides with training tips, recommendations, advice on presenting the info, and more.

With the ‘open’ design of this file, individual images (slides) can easily be added to enhance and customize the value of this material.
