Personal Protection PowerPoint

Description

This is an 8-slide PowerPoint program that focuses on responder safety and proper use of PPE. Included is head, eye, face, body, and hand protection equipment specific to technical rescue tasks. This program or its’ equivalent, should be included prior to the start of any hands-on skills training.

There is no elapsed time set to complete this task. The style of the PowerPoint allows that presenter to edit and adapt the slides to be in conformance with the Host Agency/Department. The information is found on page 125 in the Vehicle Rescue 1-2-3 book.

The brief PowerPoint program includes all the images from page 125 of the book. On each of the eight slides is a text box that contains the two or three sentences that appear with that picture in the book. To form a Lesson Plan, there are also Instructor Notes for the slides along with with training tips, recommendations, advice on presenting the info, and more.
