Description
This is a 61-slide PowerPoint program that begins with visual examples of the Ultra High-Strength Steel (UHSS) designs being used to place UHSS in vehicle structures.
This program then describes six different University of Extrication “Workaround” techniques that can be used when a rescue team is confronted with these advanced steels and does not have the ability to cut through the metal. The “W’ tab of the book contains the work-around steps that are detailed on pages 181- 189 in the Vehicle Rescue 1-2-3 book.
The PowerPoint program includes all the images from the appropriate pages of the book. On each PowerPoint slide is a text box that contains the two or three sentences that appear with that image in the book. There are also Presenter Notes for the slides along with training tips, recommendations, advice on presenting the info, and more.
