Description
This is a 13-slide PowerPoint program that explains important procedures for utilizing a vehicle-mounted or detachable power winch at a rescue scene. Personnel who are selected to drive and operate any vehicle that has the capability of having a power winch attached, should be very familiar with the information on pages 179-180 in the Vehicle Rescue 1-2-3 book.
The Winch Operations PowerPoint program includes color images from the Winch Operations pages of the book. On each slide is a text box that contains the two or three sentences that appear with that picture in the book. There are also Presenter Notes for the slides with training tips, recommendations, advice on presenting the info, and more.
